Job Summary
We are seeking a Pizza Prep/Line Cook to join the team at our busy restaurants. In this position, you will be responsible for using high-quality ingredients to prepare delicious meals for our customers. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow recipes and food prep schedule
- Responsible for working a pizza oven: cooking pizzas and removing them from oven and cutting
- Make pizza dough, sauces, and toppings
- Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment
- Prepare pizzas and food and present it in an appealing manner
- Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessary
- Follow all food safety regulations
- Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned by the head chef or management
- Flexibility to work at both of our locations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification
- Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
